Advertising Executive
Sheridan Media Group has an opening for an energetic and industrious account representative selling yellow pages advertising in niche markets.

We are searching for an individual who has enjoyed a successful career with another publisher but who is looking to become a sales superstar in a smaller environment. You must be focused and money-motivated and not afraid of doing business over the telephone or in-person. Only highly polished professionals need apply.

With the support of an advertising assistant and a full production team, our advertising executives work established account and lead lists and are responsible for advertiser retention and acquisition. Some travel is required.

In addition to the skills listed above, the winning candidate must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal. He/she is articulate and knows how to deliver a presentation and prepare a proposal. Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office applications is a must.

Base $15k, with commission on new sales and increases, retention bonuses, 401K benefits and company contribution toward health insurance. First year earnings, expect $34,000-$42,000.

Contract Delivery Professional
Sheridan Media Group contracts annually with individuals and companies to deliver its publications to street boxes and individual establishments. We are currently searching for additional delivery professionals to work on a contract basis.

Drivers must complete minimal paperwork with every drop-off;our production team verifies all delivery points in advance.

Candidates must have a valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation. Positions are available in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, and the Hudson Valley (NY) as well as in Kansas City (MO, KS).

$10/hour, plus tolls and mileage reimbursement.
